I think something is wrong with me and I should put it in my resolution list to improve but then can’t put it into words. It’s “like” I had wondered for so many many years why there are black and white keys on the piano but didn’t know how to ask? And it could be as simple as I write it now. (PS just found out the answer by chance last year or last last year)

Anyway, there is a art workshop this weekend. The material list includes lipsticks, oil stick, newspaper…Hm, my lipstick?! to use as oil pastels in a collage? But the worst thing is that I smell a Pollock – Kooning kind of art, and I’m dread.

Still I’m going to give it a chance for a breather.

New Year Resolution

1. As I said, now that I nailed down my watercolor, I need to work on learning digital modeling and rendering.

—>Making progress at learning Revit and more which are pulling me by the hair. I sound like a computer illiterate, although I’m not all that bad but not it’s not my absolute interest.

2. Seriously need to apply sunscreen religiously when I go out, right now I’m too lazy of just putting and removing BB cream (and that is without makeup)

3. Take my vitamins, med and drink milk on the daily basic. This is a given and still sometimes I forget to take my pills for a week :S

4. Focus on studying for these last months. (less late/skipping class)

5. Of course need to wake up early to study, set a less ambitious goal at 9AM.

—-> Signed up for a 9AM class 3 days/week this quarter, yay

6. Exercise more, go to gym. (at least 15′/day)

7. Find some volunteer work.

8. Read more, 10 books in my Kindle. ( I need a specific goal)

9. Continue sketching, improving my watercolor skill. This is ambitious but aiming for a painting/ two months.

10. Travel more.

11. Improve my English pronunciation.

12. Eat all of the food I buy before buying more, no wasting.

uhm will have more resolutions along the year.

The Year is Ending quicknote

I got 10 days to finish the 5fth book according to one of my resolution at the beginning of the year, thankx to my Kindle.

I think I didn’t write a very specific resolution list this year but next year I want to be more clear (there’s always a next time again @@)

I think I have nailed my watercolor skill (not expert but acceptable) so I’m going to horn my digital skills in the coming year, although they are not my forte or interest at all (yanking my hair out) …er it’s next year resolution.

gotta be wild, free and energetically run like a kid at the end of the year

I wonder how I have lived for so long in this town.

Necessity is mother of invention, I have learned to be resourceful when I can’t find what I need around. I also learn to cook a little which wouldn’t happen if I live in a more abundant place or with my family. And I also realize these house chores take a lot of time, cleaning is endless and I’m not a hygienist at all. Haizz I miss my mom…

Today I went to farmer market with my only girlfriend in town. That is I don’t have many friends and girls are even harder to make friend. At this age they have already formed their unbreakable circle that if I’m too lucky to be in I’m still forever an alien foreign subject. Uhm that’s another long story. Anyway, through this horrible resolution pixel picture can anyone tell me what the instrument being played here? It has a very high pitch and sounds like a violin.

Sometime I like low quality picture because it’s like a loose watercolor sketch with minimal details. So here’s my version according to my best memory and eyes. So help me out with the instrument name!

Today I’m so exhausted. Good thing is that I will have long weekend from tomorrow. Maybe I should try to boost my energy with this tiny caviar from Costco that would cost me an arm and a leg. brrr I don’t think I can afford such luxury but it’s still good to know what you can get at American warehouse.

Palm-sized caviar ^^ The spring rolls and smoked salmon next to it look dang good btw

Today nothing special happened. I want to make everyday worth living but still I’m lazy as hell. These days I’m even laying down using the computer instead of sitting properly. Maybe the highlight of the day is that I visited a park and there is a beautiful stream, just a small one but peaceful and picturesque. I hope there will be water in the summer so that I can take my parents there and take pictures, it would be photogenic.

As I was rummaging through my backpack for my camera, I found these little viewfinders. Hmm, just a few days and I almost completely forgot about them. Gotta bring them along with me everywhere now. Isn’t it the cheapest and best camera you can get?

Today I got A- for my thesis statement although I don’t feel deserving it. But the highlight is that my instructor said that it’s because I wrote it from my heart…wow you’ve just made my day ^^

I need these photoframe glasses to hide my dark circles of staying up too late!

Sunday Sketch Workshop

These workshops are one of the few things that can make me wake up early on a Sunday morning. And somehow I always end up with a perspective/eye level workshop, which is a good thing too because I’m still puzzled at these. One of the instructors even gave me two (yeah not 1 but 2) mini viewfinders (I think these are formerly used for slides which doesn’t exist anymore). I’m so thankful, I have been looking for one recently and now I don’t have to buy them, plus I like improvised things better than ready made good.

I want my future room to have wallpaper of sketches like this, all four sides. Isn’t it the best kind of wallpapers?

I wish the workshop is every week but it’s not, so next week I’m going to the flee market again. I have my eyes on something, hope it’s still there. Haha. Have a great week ahead ^^
